Affiliate disclosure

Last updated June 11, 2026

Home Amplified is reader-supported. When you click certain links on this site and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer. This page explains that plainly, because trust is the only asset a review site has.

What it means in practice

Some links on our pages, typically the price-check buttons and retailer links, are affiliate links. If you buy after clicking one, the retailer pays us a percentage of the sale. You pay exactly the same price either way: the commission comes from the retailer’s marketing budget, not from your pocket.

What it does not mean

Commissions do not buy placement, ratings, or verdicts. Our rankings are set by the evaluation framework published in how we test before monetization is considered, and we frequently recommend products and retailers that earn us less than the alternatives. Retail partners have no preview of our content and no channel to influence it.

Identification

In line with United States Federal Trade Commission guidance, affiliate relationships are disclosed on every page that contains affiliate links, and affiliate links are tagged appropriately for search engines. If anything about a relationship on this site is unclear, ask us through the contact page and we will answer directly.
